Methodology
- All case descriptions were taken from The Cyber Helpline chatbot data
- Data collection with demographics began in March 2023
- Cases were cleaned to remove duplicates, incomplete records, or spam messages
- Classifications were made using a bespoke large language model (LLM) prompt
- Currently, the model used is ChatGPT 4.1
- Personally identifiable information (PII) was removed with a dedicated Python library before LLM processing
- The dataset is updated on a monthly basis to include new cases
